                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 4833
                   HIXSON PIKE, BEING ON THE NORTHWEST LINE OF
                   HIXSON PIKE SOUTHWEST OF CLOVERDALE DRIVE, FROM
                   C-2 CONVENIENCE COMMERCIAL ZONE TO C-1 HIGHWAY
                   COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 4833 Hixson Pike, being
                on the northwest line of Hixson Pike southwest of
                Cloverdale Drive. Lots 1 and 2, Amin Plaza
                Subdivision on Hixson Pike, as shown by plat of
                record in plat book 43, page 62, ROHC; being the
                property described in deed book 3647, page 172,
                ROHC.    Tax Map No. 110H-C-16 and 16.1.
               
               
         from C-2 Convenience Commercial Zone to C-1 Highway Commercial
         Zone.
        
              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
